When and Where
The Butler Farm Show will be held August 5 through August 10, 2019. The gates will be open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Admission is $7 per person on Monday, and $8 per person Tuesday through Saturday. The show takes place at 625 Evans City Road, Butler, PA 16001.
Rooted in Tradition
This exciting, highly anticipated annual event is awash in local history and pride. In 1947, a plowing contest held on Jack Roe’s property in Meridian was the beginning of an idea to bring together city folks, farmers, and businessmen. Some farm organizations decided to act as sponsors. Out of this community spirit blossomed the Butler Farm Show, Inc., in 1948. It is still going strong 71 years later – and it just gets better with every passing year.
