The new Honda Civic is the 11th generation of America’s most popular compact car. For the Civic, this is the third time winning the North American Car of the year. Back in 2006 and 2016, the 8th and 10th generations also received this honor. There have been nearly 11 million Civics produced in North America, the United States makes up about 30 percent of that production.
