You’re probably well aware that when the cold months end, the fun begins. During the spring and summer months, there are countless activities that you and your friends can participate in. For instance, this May, why not support a good cause and put your endurance to the test when you participate in the Color Me Rad 5K run! Keep reading to learn more about this fun event!

About the Event

The Color Me Rad 5K run will take place on Saturday, May 16. The gates open at 8:00 a.m. and the race will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. The race will be held at the Northshore Gold Lot #4 located at 218 North Shore Drive in Pittsburgh. For those of you registering in advance, you can pick up your registration packet on Friday, May 15 at the Hyatt Place Pittsburgh-North Shore located at 260 North Shore Drive.

Whether you wish to walk or run, you’re certain to get your exercise in when you participate in the Color Me Rad 5K. You can even build a team and have your friends compete with you! Ticket Information

There are a variety of ticket options you can choose from, so let’s break it down for you:

  • Kids Pack – With this ticket option, the cost is $15 and you receive a shirt, race bib, face buff, tattoo, color pack, and finishers medal. This ticket is for those 7 years and under.
  • VIP – This ticket costs $45 and you receive the same goodies as above as well as a tutu, seat cover, rad socks, and 10 color packs.
  • Regular – With the Regular Ticket option, you gain a shirt, a finishers medal, a seat cover, face buff, race bib, and fun tattoo.
  • Low-Key – For only $24, you can choose the Low-Key ticket which gives you a race bib and a finishers medal.

The colors used for the event are non-toxic, so you won’t have to worry about the colors getting on your clothes or on your body. You might want to wear some athletic clothes, of course. Get ready to have fun!
