EQT’s Flashes of Freedom Celebrate America

Are you ready for a full-on patriotic celebration? Then EQT’s Flashes of Freedom Celebrate America event is going to be the place for you. During the day, there’ll be a ton of things to do. From food vendors to fun and games for the kids, you are sure to have a blast. There will even be a free live concert going on: Gabby Barrett will be headlining from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. But of course, the most important part of this celebration is the fireworks. You can catch them at 9:35 p.m. Be sure not to miss them!

Fort Pitt Museum

If you know anything about the Fort Pitt Museum, then you know that it’s a great place to go learn about the history of the local area. But you should also know that this place knows how to put on a great Fourth of July party as well. First, check out a flag-raising ceremony to honor the country. Then check out historical and rifle demonstrations, and let the kids have some fun with children’s activities. Finally, make sure you stay around until 5:30 p.m. for the live reading of the Declaration of Independence.

Heinz Field Fourth of July Celebration

Another one of the biggest celebrations in town is the Heinz Field Fourth of July Celebration. Admission is free, so you don’t have to pay a dime to get in. There will be plenty of live music, food available for purchase, and of course, a ton of fun. If you’re in the local area, you won’t want to miss it.
